Officer Vaillancourt has served as a Transportation Enforcement Officer with the Ministry of Transportation since 2013, working in the East Region out of Lancaster, Ontario. He is an accredited CVSA Inspector through the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance of North America. Over his career, he has supported major enforcement initiatives, including joint operations with the OPP Aircraft Enforcement Team, Operation Safe Driver, and collaborative efforts with the RCMP and multiple municipal police services. He has also contributed to the MTO Remote Enforcement Team, supporting operations across Northern and Eastern region. Currently, he serves as the East Region Outreach and Recruiting Officer, helping strengthen the future of MTO Enforcement through community engagement and candidate development. He also supported border operations during Operation Deterrence, contributing to the stability of Ontario’s commercial vehicle supply chain. In 2022, he was honoured with the RISE Award for Excellence in Commercial Inspection and Enforcement.
